All of these older 2strokes bikes have almost same kind of electrical components like generators, rectifiers etc, basic construction is same, the difference is between the fitment, one can do this alteration but then you should know exactly what you are trying to do, or you should have an very competent mechanic, which i don't think is easy to find, so in my opinion there is no need to juggle with different designed parts, just go for Rx-135 generator, and these parts are getable.

I will try to email you the workshop manual, as this manual size is 24mb so i have to see which mailing site supports above 20mb attachments.

Yeah buddy I will never try to alter the magnet or generator assembly and stick to stock and if getable then will go for rx 135 entire kit.

Let me know which parts are critical to source only from engine side I will try to source it for future trobleshooting.
I know some parts but thats not enough i think.

Thanx a ton once again buddy for precious "WORKSHOP MANUAL"

"TRUE BIKER" The term well suited to a person like you.

"TRUE BIKER" The term well suited to a person like you.

The generator of Rx-135 is costing around 5000/-rs, cdi will cost you another 600/-, wiring will cost you 430/-, flasher and rectifier will add another 700/-rs, 12v battery is retailing at some 900+ rupees (use old styled acid battery of amco not the dry cell) bulbs are not that expensive, so whole of the conversion expense will come around some 7000/-rs.

Till now all of the engine parts of Rx-100 are available from the cylinder kit to crank shaft including all other ancellories the only thorn in the flesh is the price which is quite high cylinder kit is costing 8500/-rs, and crank is some 3500/-, so to prevent yourself from paying more price in future you can purchase the cylinder kit and crank shaft, secondly check the condition of the clutch bell assembly also, if you feel or find any kind of trouble then purchase this part also, although clutch assembly very rarely malfunction, there are only two parts to my knowledge which are not available, one is right side pilot assembly, and second is neutral wire switch cover, make a complete list of the parts and let me know, and then according to my knowing i will try to add any other parts which you might have missed.

          Dhanyavaad for such kind words.

Check the condition of wheel rims from inside after such a long journey most of the times rims gets corroded badly, petrol filter, complete engine bearings set, clutch plates, for tools you have to get all pullers like crank separator, magnet puller, front drive sprocket holder, bearing puller, race bearing set installation tool, front fork oil seal tool, T-bar, torque wrench(although it's quite costly will cost you somewhere around 8000/-), check the workshop manual all of the necessary tools have been mentioned in it.

What is the approx cost of engine bearing set and clutch plate..??

Colour of my bikes spark plug is exactly similar to that of yours buddy.feels nice to compare.

BTW you are right the rims have beautiful outer as a stock but extremely corroded inner portion...will replace those to hondas...!!

OE clutch plates are 500/-rs, bearings will cost you some 300/-rs but do check the exact price in your state also as state price do differ,

On mag wheels different people have different taste, alloy wheels are lighter than steel wheels, easy to clean, rust free, the only problem with the mag wheels is that they don't have that classic retro look, to me alloy wheel seems to be dead object, that's my personal opinion, but if you like alloy wheels then go for them and check out for gladiator alloy wheels as they are direct fit, plus when you are changing to alloy wheels then simultaneously go for tubeless tyres, as this way you will be free of trouble, secondly alloy wheels should never be used with tube tyres as in the case of puncture tyre repairer will use pry bar or some kind of lever type object to extract tube from tyre as these are unskilled persons they tend to damage the lip of the alloy wheels.

Thanx a lot buddy for ur quick and nice replys....!!!
I will purchase gladiator alloys because spoke wheels requires more frequent cleaning to avoid rusting and I wanna reliability. Surely I will go for tubeless tyres as you suggested.

                    1) What type of engine guard(to avoid mud spray) should be best one ??

                    2) Secondly mod of front end with disk set up of gladiator is good for that cost or present drum brake set up is sufficiant...??

3)Where i will get the carburetter packing for mikuni carburetter..??
                    I want atleast two.

                    4)I wanna some reliable mod/oe for starter puller(choke) ..
Its realy harassing me if bike stops in traffic and I wanna quick start ..coz bike refuses to enter in neutral and I have to pull choke lever simultaneously.
Is suzuki max r or any other bikes choke is suitable to mod on it..??

                    Thanx once again buddy

Gladiator alloys looks good on Rx and yes cleaning is very easy, and no tension of rusted wheels.

For engine guard either you have to look out for aftermarket steel made engine guard or you can go for a bigger front fender rubber flap other than OE, you can opt for discover 125 front fender mud flap though you might have to make a bit of alteration.

For Rx-100 stock drum brake set up is more than enough, though you can fix gladiator front disc set up for extra braking power and extra protection, but then you have to change whole of the front end set with gladiators one, and the cost should be some 12000/-rs.

Any yamaha shop who sells spares should have carburetor packing, only use the OE one not local, the current packing of carburetor is of beige colour and it's a one time fix you never have to change carburettor packing once you fix it properly, no matter how many time you open carburettor.

You can use starter puller wire from Rx-135 but then you have to mod with front light switch on the left hand of the handlebar, starter using should not happen when you are riding once the engine warms up it should start without starter, starter is only required when you are starting your bike after a long halt, what is the idling rpm of your bike check it, check out engine compression ratio also with compression meter, if you don't have this meter purchase it, it will cost you some 7 or 800/- rs, for your neutral problem adjust the clutch by opening the left side clutch adjustment crank case cover.Secondly use good quality ss 20w50 oil.

                          hello buddy....!!!
In two days I was almost busy with the manual ...I read and understand the mechanism and the parts which is of prime importance but may be neglected by our mechanics and the importance along with exact location of expendables such as oil seals , o rings , circlips and how to replace them.

I got almost all the confidence on DIY minor problems fault finding and correct way to set all of these in a standard manner and tools required for them.

The only confusion is about the gearbox mechanism and how to replace clutch plates because of the diagram shown on the manual pages are not like the confidence inspiring but I hope everything I am learning myself will be sufficiant if I see the entire engine build up through my naked eyes .

Buddy if you have any idea of what to do if one realy wanna learn and understand the every heart bit of our machine then plz plz share to me anytime I am waiting for whatever suggetions , ideas from anybody.

Thanx a ton once again as you are the person which is responsible to turn my soul towards my machine
