    Good Afternoon Riders !

    Well to start off with my problem i have to ask for ur help regarding my Uni which has done 33k kms, d bike vibrates a lot even at start up which is hardly at 1500 rpm n wen d rpm starts to rise so does d vibrations. Everybody is aware of uni's reputation regardin its smoothness but dis has really got on2 my nerves frm d past few 1000 kms. I cant hit more dan 100 coz d vibrations scare me n so does d engine, feels like im pushish it against its wish and wen i try to ride it on higher gears wid low speed it wobbles like hell ! Dis makes it very hard to ride it at low rpm. Apart frm dis im even experiencing oil leak all over d head. Guys i dnt use it much but still hv to maintain it so help me out over here coz iv really started to freak out a lot !!! SOS !!

        Hi, i would suggest you to go for overhauling of the whole engine. the parts like crakshaft or piston inside the engine might be jam or scratching hard against the wall of engine. thats why its creating such a problem.

        People say that if you open the engine, then its bad for bike, well i had a little bit of same problem with my bike and finally gave it to the showroom guys they changed most of the parts inside engine and its going good now.!


        So take it to a showroom mechanic and show him your bike. he will ride it and suggest you about the changes.

          Did you check the engine oil?
          I've heard when engine oil is due for a change, the engine gets pretty harsh. It starts making noises you've never heard of, etc.

            How about engine decarbanisation??

            A similar thing happened to my CD100ss. The service guy suggested an engine decarbanisation and there was an offer for 250/- which helped me(ofcourse that was 4 years ago).

              Thanks guys for your responses, il be going to the service center by this weekend n will let u know about what mechanics have suggested. As yes as per my memory recalls i remember that when these problems had started a few 1000+ kms ago i had been to the service center and 1 of the mechanics told me that it could be cause of the wear out of the clutch plates, is that a possibility ????

              N yup, i do change the oil regularly after every few 1000 kms and my bike is serviced at regular intervals in which i had opted for the decarbonisation but i think the problem is something out of context this time and it is the first time my bike is giving me problem and it is major. Neways lets see what the mechanics have to say.

                  i had been to d service station n showed my problem to which the mechanic said that mayb the oil aint reachin the clutch plates n thats d reason y the bike is vibrating so much, is it possible ???? plz tell me im very anxious.

                    sometimes when the mixture gets too lean, vibrations are witnessed..So check the carb air screw..it should be open 5 half turns..Also make the idle rpm just below 1500..

                      possible reasons for vibrations-
                      1-engine oil
                      2-engine mountings
                      3-clutch

                      my 50 cents are on point2

                        @all : Thank you all for ur response.
                        well iv done everything that possibly cud have been done like changing the entire clutch assembly to chain n sprockets to decarbonisation and even tightening the engine bolts etc. but the problems still persists.
                        its like now it doesnt even cross the 110 mark, just gets stuck though its has the ability to outdo it.
                        Its completed 38k kms.
                        Worry still continues coz Its great on pick-up (very challenging) and very strong till the 4th gear or say the 100 mark but as i put in the 5th my bike feels dead.
                        i dnt understand where does the problem lie. is it cause its gettin old and have done a great amount of kms ???? iv neways taken great care of the wear n tear.
                        guys i really sought ur help so help me.

                          I am with Shubhankar. First check your spark plug n let us know the condition of plug center. BLACK /White / Brown?????

                            Its white and neways buddy its new, iv hardly ridden 4k kms with it n even had cleaned the last time i got the bike worked up mayb last 1 or 2k kms ago.
