KTM Duke 200 Break-in

My KTM Duke was delivered on 2nd oct and by now it has 300kms on the odo. I was wondering if I can take for a short trip - Pune-Lonavala-Pune . Will it affect the engine?
What are the things that I should avoid during the break-in period? I was told not to cross 65kmph and 7000rpm.
