    Why?

In order to fix mounts for camera and mobile charger.
The mount will be a plastic one. Also the inner dia of the mount should match the outer dia of the handle bar rod.

This handlebar is on sale in Delhi for almost more then 5 years for approx 300/- it's very light and easily breakable, once you drop your bike it will break, I replaced 2 of them. There would be a good quality handle bar too but not sure where to get those from. Although I use duke's handle bar which is so heavy and strong. Crashed 3-4 times but not even a bend on that handle bar.

Why do you keep crashing? Please ride safe.

Do you know what this bars are called? Any advantage of them? Or are they just for looks?

                    Re: Motorcycle handle bar Mod

If you do stunt riding you will crash, no one can save this if you do notorious stuns on one wheel. I dnt know what those handle bars exactly called as but they are generally called as MOTOCROSS bars. But the add-on horizontal bar attached to the handle is to protect the handle from bending or breaking in motocross bikes because of the tremendous pressure on them while huge jumps. But due to poor of quality of the handle bars available in India it will bend easily. You may try the DUKE's handle bar or FAZER's handle bar. They are comparatively very strong. Nice bike mod
I'm not looking forward to change the entire handle bar. The factory set up on Uni is very ergonomical. I'm just looking for a place to mount phone charger and phone holder.

Well firstly, the type of handlebar you are referring is not a Clip On habdlebar. This one is mentioned generally a crossbar or offroad handlebar.
The part in between, connecting the two ends of the handlebar is also known generally as a crossbar.
A friend of mine has put one on his Duke 390. I can get you in touch with him if you wish.

Nice mod. Love the aux light add-ons. Please refer your friend as you mention.
I'm looking forward to add a few things like Pulsar horn, bike charger, Aux fog lamps on Uni along with Crossbar, Mobile Holder and an abs.
Every bit of advice will be helpful before I spend the moolah

                            Hi Jaideep and deejaay,

This crossbar seems perfect to mount a GoPro on my 390. So if your friend doesn't mind then please share the details on where to get them fitted.
Will be a great help. Thanks!
