Hi All,
I am very glad to inform you that got delivery of classic Black 500 first week of Dec 2014 and have completed 1500km till now...
However, from the very first day 'thack' 'thack' sound used to come from rear wheel near chain....
While inspecting noticed that one screw was missing from chain cover...got it fitted.....and thought that the issue is resolved.....but whenever im riding with pillon that sound still comes............many times....mostly when I am riding in 1-2 gear and then on the bumpy roads...
During first service at Ulhasnagar, expalined everything to the RE mechanic......and he told me that shockops setting needs to be changed and the problem will vanish....got the bike from 1st service and after some days the thack thack sound again started coming.....
I work @ airoli so deceide to show the bike to nearest RE Service station @ thane.....they inspected and told me that the wheel needs to be removed after that only they would be able to understand whts the problem.......they kept the bike for good 5-6 hours and told me that problem has been resolved...some nuts were loose and they fixed it....checked in test ride and no sound.......However, after riding for 8-9 kms more again the sound started....Yesterday I had taken to RE service staion @ ulhasnagar and they are now saying me that the shockobs are faulty and coming saturday they will replace it and hence the sound will vanish....but still im not sure whether they have diagnosed the problem right.........
has anyone encountered the same problem?
Also after 1st service the engine sound when I start has changed kkkkk...kkkk....sound comes from engine and it is there @ low speeds....some how I feel that engine is not breathing properly...shown in to RE mechanic they say everything is normal.
Any inputs/help will be appreciated!!!
