Re: karizma zmr 2014 tappet noise
Topic Approved.
When mechanics don't use the gauge to measure, the tappets may end by being improperly adjusted, the symptoms of which you have already mentioned.
My suggestion would be to go to the Hero SVC itself, and persuade them to use a gauge to adjust the tappets.
If they disagree or if this doesn't solve the problem, then of course, you should go to other mechanics. Only Pune guys can give you info about the good local mechanics.

1. Post your queries in the respective ownership thread. ZMR v1 and v2 have dedicated ownership threads on the forum.Originally posted by vijaykumar View PostThanx samarth but do you know how to fix tappet problem so that i can tell the hero svc manager to work correctly
2. Buy a Stanley Feeler gauge from any physical store or e-tailer and carry the same with you to your SVC. Ask them to set the inlet as well as exhaust to 0.1 mm using the feeler gauge.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
