  • Pulsar 150 Oil leakage

Guys i badly need an advice on my bike, my pulsar is sucking up too much Engine Oil i mean it dries out in about 1200-1300 kms.
Mechanics are asking me replace bore wall and/or Piston(Depending on what they see inside) else engine will seize as of now i cant see any kind of smoke from engine but am also not sure on what to do. kindly advice what as what should i do. FYI this problem was present even b4 oil leak.

Secondly during recent Oil change a stupid mechanic has cracked my engine casing, now its sucking oil as well as leaking it . When i took it to service center they said casing is having a small crack at bottom, Now I do wanna know if a repair is possible for casing or the only option here is to replace it .

Guys plz tell me approx cost to fix as i donot wanna spend a lot on this bike as i will be relocating and selling it in a span of like 8-10 months.

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

If you are going to sell the bike , just change the piston rings & cracked casing can be welded so no worries

      Will cost you 1500-2000 total

        Re: Pulsar 150 Oil leakage

Many cases of oil consumption do not result in smoke. There will be minute cracks in the cylinder wall through which the oil gets sucked into the combustion chamber. The amount of oil will be very less to cause significant smoke.

Until you open the engine you cannot know if the problem is with cylinder or piston. If there is a problem with cylinder replace with the oem note kit which includes cylinder and Piston.

But you cannot say where the problem is until you open up the engine
