RUST Prevention. Please Help.

    RUST Prevention. Please Help.

    Please advice as what to use to prevent rusting. I understand that carnauba wax will work on most metal parts.
    But the engine area, exhaust pipe and underbody are way too hot. Wax would just melt and drip right away.


    I have found some solutions for these areas.


    Engine Oil + Kerosene
    Coconut Oil + Kerosene


    I don't know any experts in my city. Please help.
    I love bajaj. Just not its hair oil, engine oil & lighting.

    If you are not near ocean conditions, then you might very well use old spent engine oil for rust prevention.

    If you are near ocean humid salty conditions, then heavy duty rust prevention wax coating is required.

    If you have any OKS product dealers in your town, ask them for Anti Corrosion Spray. Its a waxy aerosol which will help your corrosion issue to the max. There is no other product in our country that comes close to its efficacy since I have experience using it in Chennai. If my bike has survived in Chennai without rust, your bike will survive for 100 years with this product.
    Safe riding prolongs life (bike & rider & public)

      Wax will NOT prevent from rust, but WD40 does a better job or oil even better which prevents rust & is a dust magnet

          That's what I did this monsoon on my Rx; please wait for the results by next month
