    Need help badly.. Have gone clueless

    Hi All,

    I have got Gujarat Driving license. From past 1 year, I have been living in Pune. Currently I have lost my driving license.

    I want to have duplicate driving license but I won't be able to produce address proof as I am living in Pune and got my old house in Gujarat sold

    Please tell me what should I do. I have gone mad with multiple suggestions that aren't even useful.

    You have two alternatives, either go back to the place of origin of your licence and get a duplicate issued. As far as i know, you don't need to submit an address proof for getting the duplicate licence. Some RTOs though post your licence to your given address, if that is the case then you will have to ask the people staying in your old house to receive your licence and forward it to you.

    On the other hand you can apply for a new DL from the Pune RTO, by going through then entire procedure again.

    Irrespective of what you choose to do, immediately file an FIR and i hope you have a photocopy of your DL.
    Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      He can apply for a new driving licence here in pune and apply for the same here itself 6 months learning license and then permanent one.
      As far in u.p you get the license immediately after producing the fir copy. A duplicate one is issued.
      But for this you have to bribe them a lot
