Hi this is Ramkrishna from kurnool.AP,which is located between Bangalore and Hyderabad highway.iam 42 yrs old.doing business.I like n love bikes ,cars.recently I owned a Kawasaki Z800.now I'm facing registration problem to z800.here in my area registration authourities denied to register the bike without form 22.but dealer telling that no need of form 22 for registration of CBU.maximum tried to convince the registration authorities,but he will not,,please can anybody enlighten me in this regard

This is something for the dealer, manufacturer to sort out on your behalf. As you would have no document proof of the way the vehicle has been imported into India. And the approvals received.
Shoot a mail to Kawasaki, pressure the dealer to handle the issue.Regardless, Life shall go on.Comment

Form 22 is to be provided by dealer , I was given the same by dealer when I asked for it while going for registration.
Dealer gets it from manufacturer For every unit he receives.

I guess it might be necessary , when I went in Fir registration , RTO asked me to provide f22. I asked the Chandigarh Himalayan Harley showroom for the same and they promptly sent it through courier.Originally posted by truptimotors.tur View Post

Actually I purchased the bike from kiviraj motors.Bangalore.they are telling that no need of form 22 for imported bikes. EC type approval certificate is enough for registration and they provided the same.but no use.I mailed the issue to Kawasaki motors India also but no any reply from themComment

Form 22 is road worthiness certificate & it is to be issued by the manufacturer & dealer has got nothing to do on giving it to you; however, dealer is supposed to get it for you. If you've bought the bike in Bangalore, how did you ride to AP without even having a temp registration? If it was temp registered, then the dealer has already got the Form 22 to get it temp registered & it isn't that difficult to get a copy of the Form 22 for them.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Ya tem.registration done in bglr by dealer with out form 22.how he managed I dnt know.but all CBU from kawasaki .With out form 22 they selling.but I convinced the RTA by giving form 22 which I received from dealer letter head along with his signature and stamp.finally got registration.reg no :AP21 BG 2800Comment
