    Help: My Yam

    Hey guys,

    My name is Hormaz, i live in bombay, got my rd around 4 months back,
    RD 85' LT
    1st oversize .25
    Running on points( would go for the RDD cdi when ready)
    TKR pistons

    The oil pump is functional, but im adding 2T oil in the fuel tank too, 20ml per liter, no wonder she is smoking too much, Can any1 here give me the address where i can find Castrol jetxx from, still searching for it.

    The most immediate change i would want to go for is the Handle bar, currently its on a Bullet handlebar, i have noticed it gets a little unstable if i cross 140kmph mark.

    Can you guys suggest me a replacement, or where can i find OE bars( asking for the impossible), or a replica of it.

    Let me know if any rd guys go for a ride next time. Would love to join in.

      where in bombay do u live? would it be possible for you to come to malad? if yes there is one mechanic named tony he has his garage at orlem malad and owns a RD350 too.

          first of all Congrats!!! to have the legend ...... please whenever you go for rides or meets post some pics spl if all the RD riders would be their.. till then ride safe and keep us updated...ride safe

                amazing bike

                have soe good memories on it.
                change that handleat once the rd handle is beautiful and dont beleive the RD gauges
                140 on it maybe be just 100 0r 80 0r 120 0r even 150 better get urself a sigma the speedometer is never accurate

                  good looking bike hormaz. u can try finding similar bars at bullet spare shops as ive seen lots of bullets having similar wide bars. most likely ur bikes on sleeves so u might want to go in for a proper engine rebuild before ur next rebore along with RDD CDI. what jets are u on?

                    @ kar1zma, well yeah, wouldnt trust the speedos blindly, but yeah it sure feels 140

                    @ yamdoot, yes, it is sleeved, and i will go for a proper rebuild, once i have cash in my pocket, im runnig on 140 jet, i think im running her too rich, she is on her richest mark on the needle,

                    will try and take the e pin down 1 level.
