  • Honda Dazzler Mileage decreased after Piston Bore Replacement

I have a question. I have changed my piston and bore in my dazzler after engine oil leak.Should the mileage improve after this change or will it remain the same.
After I got both of them replaced the mileage improved to 52KMPL for the first 1000kms. And as advised by them, I later took the bike to them for valve adjustment. And from them I see a steady decline in my mileage and right now after 2 months the mileage is back to 42 as it was before the piston replacement.

Is this normal or should I be worried about it?

    Topic Approved.

It could be normal. Please ride slow during the first 2000 kms after Bore piston change. Refer to user manual for "running in" for more details.

Are you sure that it was valve adjustment? Or was it tappet adjustment? Do you hear an irregular noise after the adjustment?
