    Hi Everybody,
    I have a 1999 yamaha rx135 (4 speed).
Its an amazing machine and i am really proud of it. I bt it for 12k 1 year back( actually i dreamt of gettin it since i was in 6th standard)
Recently i discovered that My petrol tank is leaking and theres a crack.
    what should i do?
should i replace it or theres another way out?
and where can i get a tank in delhi and how much would it cost?

please help me in this regard guys!!

Can i fit a K&N air filter in my RX135? Is it a direct fit or I need to make some mods/adjustments? I don't have much idea about it but it looks different...

                    please suggest >>>

do'nt go for K&N considering the price of it and the extra stress the engine is going to take afterwards.when you allow more air to enter the engine you should also increase the petrol intake also by replacing the stock carb jet with a bigger one. unless you do that you will overheat the engine and melt it !! also, jetting is a very complicated issue, better you enjoy her stock....

Thnaks a lot Satish for that Valuable piece of info.
I'm definitely gonna drop that idea and stick to the stock..
                        thanks...
BTW can u suggest how to get a bright beam from the headlight, my stock light gives negligible brightness. I changed the reflector but it was of no use. will changing the light itself do the trick? whick headlight assembly should i go for?

                        please help

^^^Dude, was your old reflector showing any loss of reflectivity? Unless it was, how will changing the reflector to another of the same type make a difference?

Changing the headlight assy. to that of another bike which is known to have better reflector should definitely improve things.

Meanwhile did you try an ordinary bulb (not halogen)?

Ya i did try an ordinary bulb but the result is same.

So i think i will have to go for a complete new headlight assembly. But Which one???

I think the best what you can get is the beam from the thunderbird with a roadking dome and philips halogen 35/35W

the problem with the RX assembly is poor quality of the beam and the local bulbs. beleive me if you can get the original japanese stanley bulb it will give much more light than the desi halogens....my 2 cents
