The shifting in my hornet 160R is not smooth, specifically, shifting to second gear feels notchy and the bike almost always lurches forward. Plus it screams at just 15kmph in the 1st gear and I can feel the strain in the engine if I rev it any further. My bike is new and hasn't been to first service yet. Speed ranges in 2nd and 3rd gears also seem limited. Is this normal? Does it get better after first service?
Also I would be quite pleased if someone can throw some light on how to ride it before first service since nothing has been said about that in the manual.
