FZ-16 smoking+other problems
Hi guys
I bought a FZ-16 on 22 december and am from pune.
on the second servicing, the yamaha servicing guy diagnosied a smoking problem (white smoke) from my exhaust and said it was due to bad petrol and he put some 'IFTEX' solution in my bike.
After that, problem still persisted and there was a lot of white smoke on changing gears and high acceleration and later on after a few visits at the PRO service showroom, white smoke was coming out only on cold starts (when my bike is on main stand and i accelerate it to sat ~ 3-4k RPM)
then after fighting with them and the delhi office(i asked for a replcaement) they changed the stem-seal valves and then the gasket.
problem solved but the engine started leaking oil from the left side(where the three bolts are fixed in a triagular fashion)
they said they were loose (maybe the technicians did it on purpose, i dont know) and the silencer hole is also deformed (its an oval not a circle)
they say they didnt loosen the bolts and silencer is also due to my fault (i know for sure they have changed my silencer)...we had a big fight and all but finally they convinced me it was all ok and the silencer hole wouldnt make a differnce at all and ultimately we parted on good terms
this happened between 2650-4200 kms..i had to constantly go to them for a month.
now my battery has discharged and my average has never gone above 35. it used to be 38 once upon a time but now its stuck on 32-35 and on 100ml tests it give 3.7km. (bike is currently @ 4400 kms)
am a little worried..what can i do..this is my first bike and i dont want to be bothered by all this nonsense. please help me.although the bike runs smoothly but on full acceleration, it doesnt give that kind of power that youd expect..it gets stuck at 85kmph..dont know what to do.
