    Knocking below 4.5K rpm P180

    My bike ran 20k kms. Recently this issue is cropped up. When ever i am in 3, 4, 5 gear below 4k when i want to accelerate distinct knocking sound is heard.
    Also when ever i start the engine without giving accleration the engine is not picking up the speed. I set the idle at 1200 rpm but it stays very low something like 800 and the engine sound is too hollow. For this reason i have changed the bellows in the carb but still no avail.
    Suggestions welcome.

      get the tappet settings done .. timing chain tensioner loaded , scissor gear loaded , and decarb the head .

          definatley check tappets and timing chain settings and really wat is scissor gear..??
          People are like Motorcycles: each is customized a bit differently.

            scissor gear is a 3 way spring loaded gear which is there in the clutch assembly .. it removes the noise created by transmission gears of the bike .. that kat kat kat noise is very much reduced by re-loading the scissor gear .
