For starters, don't do it! It will fry the valves and you'll lose all punch from the engine. No matter what displacement it is, the engine will die.

Re: Exhaust flame ???
Guys, I think we should refrain from such topics which promote/my lead to hazards, pollution, engine damage. Just see the conditions in the polluted areas.
Maybe I'm pissed right now, coz that time of year is coming up when people create more pollution (light, sound, air) and spend toms of money at it. Me being hyper-allergic, feel the real heat for a week. And in Diwali night, it's hard to breathe without taking some Cetirizine tablets.
Sorry if I'm being a cock-blocker but I feel such mods which only are meant to be flashy and waste fuel are nonsensical. Especially after seeing those rolling coal truck videos.

Re: Exhaust flame ???
Quite true!! Also in my defence, it is a temporary set up and I only use the bike for grocery runs nearbyOriginally posted by Zapps View PostGuys, I think we should refrain from such topics which promote/my lead to hazards, pollution, engine damage. Just see the conditions in the polluted areas.

No doubt these mods are flashy but I think they should not be overdone. Maybe switch between a stock exhaust and a flashy one when you feel the need to show off

It will eat up more fuel isn't it?Originally posted by sdm_9999 View PostMy friend fitted a silencer on my stock CBZ and it throws fire
Yeah they're just to show off ! But damaging the own engine at risk !
I hope higher capacity engines won't suffer if the flame exhaust is placed.

Re: how to pop flames from a 100cc engine?
It does eat more fuel. But as I said, that bike is mostly used for grocery runs, chai in front of the society, travelling to and from my friend's garage which all of 2.5 KMs away. So even with reduced mileage 200 Rs worth of petrol lasts a long long time.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostIt will eat up more fuel isn't it?

And yes, my friend has told me that it can damage the engine but will not damage beyond repair. So I am letting it be as he was the one who fitted the silencer. Also, we got the bike for all of 6500 K with clear papers and it was perfectly completed within 10K total. So since we did not spend a fortune on this machine, all of our experiments, show-offs, cool stuff is usually carried out on this bike
