dai....do u remember tht even surya's bike had the same problem?

His mech checked it and he said some DCU (guess so) has conked off. and he said it costs some 1300rs.

If possible do check out the charging unit of the battery there might be sum problm der

Satti, Did u mean BCU by any chance?

Body Control Unit that is.

BUt how come all the bikes i checked in the showroom have that problem da?

it is not possible....do u mean service center or showroom...might be that particular service center has some problem...

How can that be possible?

I checked two showrooms for that matter. In fact, i felt like a fool each time they showed a bike with the same problem.

In short, i felt like a fool some 7-8 times

Pranay, No. I still havent done the Dyanamo Charging test. The mechs at my hometown are close to illiterate, so i am waiting for an oppurtunity to do it elsewhere.

hey i checked my bike,....there is no dimming .....everything is perfect ...i went to a service center near civil court.....and checked one 150 and one 180...and there isn't any dimming ........

guys it shud not dim........if there is dimming .. believe me its a manufacturing defect......

Mine is 8 month old. Mine is with the silver silencer guards. In my bike this dimming doesnt occur. A friend of mine got a new p180ug3 2 months back. The one with the steel silencer guards(yes its a newer batch).There this dimming is observed.BTW mine too is a p180ug3
