  • Need suggestion on tubless puncture options..

    Hello Experts,

Really looking for your valuable suggestion for my problem which seems to just started 3 days back.

I own an TNT25 with Metzellers tires and in Bangalore and done 6.5K, its been a year and no problems as far as tires goes..
Recently about 2 months back my commute on the bike increased to 30 KM as my office shifted and the roads
to my office are bad making the ride extremely irritating on the bike.

3 days back on a small trip out of the city , I picked up a puncture from a bolt and got that fixed via the tubeless strip type puncture..

today I see one more small nail and i removed it and on close inspection it also was leaking small amount of air and got that too fixed
via the strip puncture, not I have 2 ugly looking patches protruding out of the these tire, as routine inspection to check for more leaks
the guy started to spray shampooed water and started seeing couple (4) of extremely small holes where the air was escaping, these
are mostly in the grooves of the tires. please take a look at the pictures. I am note sure how so may small punctures are showing up suddenly.

I did not get the small ones fixed and wanted to reach out to you guys before taking further course of action, Planning to ride
with these at less speed and check the air pressure on alternate days basis. till date I usually drive at nominal speeds up to 100
km/h with in cities and and have reached around 130 km/h on highways on trips, so considering this,

Can you please suggest me what needs to be done here.
    * Should I get these fixed in with strip type fix, I am not sure how the stability of the tire will be after that.
    * Should I get one of those liquids which seal the leak from inside.
    * Should I go for some sort of permanent repair, I am not sure if anyone in Bangalore does that
    * Should I get the Mushroom plug type fix , or finally
    * go for replacement of the tire.

    Thanks in advance.

Your tyre looks toast! Fill air and see if it reduces drastically in a couple of days. If it doesn't see if it has lost lots of air in a week. If that be the case, then replace tyre. Urgently, if you are planning a trip outside town. The last thing you want is to be stranded somewhere with a tyre which looks like a sieve
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city
