Re: 5 years extended warranty by Honda
Query Approved
You might want to specify the model as well. Though i would assume it's for the Trigger!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Re: 5 years extended warranty by Honda
We can only guess and speculate on this. would it not be better to ask the dealer to get the accurate info?I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Re: 5 years extended warranty by Honda
Extended Warranty by Honda (HMSI) is called Honda shield which lets you extend the basic warranty provided by Honda by 1/12000KM,2/24000KM or 3/36000KM/Years. This information I provided is for scooters. For bikes I suggest you contact a dealer and enquire about the extended warranty program. For Honda Activa 3G which I purchased on January of 2017, the basic warranty provided by Honda lasts till January of 2019 and for an amount of Rs.615 inclusive of taxes I opted for two years additional warranty which ends on December of 2021. AFAIK warranty is a contract and in order to uphold the terms of the contract you have to follow the suggested service schedule till the end of the contract. They record all your services on a booklet given along with the owner's manual including paid services. It has only been 3 months and I have only completed the second free service and things are not looking good. At Honda ASC I had to deal with sub standard behavior and arrogant people and I am quite sure things are only going to get worse as time goes on. Extended warranty gives me a little peace of mind and it covers both mechanical and electrical breakdown.
