  • [SlideShow]: What is this thing which our mechanic found inside the Engine?

My 15 months old bike suddenly stopped working, local mechanic opened the engine and found this cow-dung kind of thing which was spread inside all over the engine. To repair it, local mechanic charged me around Rs. 6000.

All previous three regular services was done in an authorised Bajaj service centre.

Local Mechanic said below could be the reason/s:-
    1. Somebody mixed the sugar in the petrol tank
    2. Authorised Bajaj service centre did not change the engine oil last time.
    3. Water entered inside the engine.

What do you say or think could be the reason and what is it that thing found inside the engine? Thanks

    Query Approved

I have heard of people putting sugar and mud into people's engines to spite them. But this is the first time i am seeing something like this.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

My assumption would be water mixing with the hot engine oil, though it shall not mix, must have been churned pretty fast to form this froth kind of thing. Solidified as the bike cools down after riding it.

That's definitely not froth, and water would have started separating from the oil the moment the engine was shut off. Definitely looks like someone mixed Sugar or something in your oil tank not petrol tank. And since there's no lock on an oil tank cap, it'd be easy to pull off this sort of mischief.

          There are only two possibilities

1.Somehow water managed to get inside the engine,or either you
went into a river or something

2.Somone mixed the engine oil with other material

Thanks for your answers. Our neighbourhood is getting mischievous day by day, recently one's bike got stolen.
BTW, whatever it was, it looked so gross and made a deep hole in my pocket.
