  • Rx 135 4s suspensions

    hi friends ,

my rx 135 4s suspension are not functioning...........
please recommend which shock absorbers i should use....... i meant
    which brand.........

well a good mechanic here told me that whatever shock absorber u use.... it will not give the same comfort n effectiveness as the modern bikes have because its chassis etc are not made acc to them... for eg: gas shocks or pulsar

i was thinking of adding p220 shock absorbers............ but someone again told me gas shocks are not appropriate for the rx ........ sns suspension is what i was told is good!!

pls recommend the best shock absorber for it and also the mods that would require to fit them

ps: dont recommend chasis cutting and also please tell me what are sns suspension
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and
no good thing ever dies .

SnS Suspension is by far the best suspension on RX and in almost all the old Two strokers....

It suits it well and also gives a good feel....
The ordinary Full Spring suspension in Starcity and herohonda bikes are also good......

But i would strongly recomment SnS... Do not go for Gas shocks....it is purely useless for RX.......

Stock shocks are the best for the bike, just buy a new pair of escorts shocks and be happy.

One of my friends had fit the Pulsar's NITROX suspension on his RX100. It is quite possible. U can go for it.

Yes SnS Suspensions are a direct fit for the RX - but you might have to screw up the Shocks holder in the Chasis - a bit - for to make the SnS Shocks fit.......

go with the gabriel or escorts shocks and enjoy the ride. am saying this because my cousin bike has a SNS and my rx 100 got a escorts. i found my bike doing better than my cousin's 135 with respect to suspension.

Gas charged shocks are way too hard for city riding you will have a sore back .the rx and other bikes of its genre are light and therefore something soft is usually mounted.Gas shocks are suited for touring with heavy loads on these bikes.try the ones on the victor they are pretty good.gabriel is also well suited for an rx i was using them on my shogun and samurai they were well balanced.

                      Gabriel or Endurance

                      Hi
I think you should go for either Gabriel or Endurance. One of my friend is using endurance in his RXG and i felt it better than my stock ones.

PERSEVERE... failure is not an option!

dont be too confused. if you are too thin and dont weigh much then you may opt for the SNS or other wise just stick to the basic and the original like all said. these bike are not the best of the handeller so dont fiddle too much and make the handeling go towards the wrong side
