I own a Suzuki fiero and got the engine restored recently. Everything went well and the feel of the bike was awesome. However, once the engine got restored, a grinding noise began occurring and the mechanic told me it was from the clutch bell. So I decided to change it and with great difficulty, managed to get a new one with a primary gear as the spares are not easily available. But to my utter disappointment,
the noise did not stop there and kept recurring. We did a recheck of the whole engine again and replaced the bore with a new one but again, it did not work. Now, I am totally clueless as to where the miss is as the grinding noise is very annoying when the bike is in neutral position. One more thing, the noise fades away when the first gear is applied & before fixing the new clutch bell, I've tried a few bells dismantled from other Fiero engines in good condition but nothing happened.
Can somebody please tell me how to get this fixed? I've lost hope and need help desperately. Thanks in advance.
