    rx100 modifications

    i have a rx100 with the following mods

    k&n rc1060 which i clean regularly(uni were not avaible thats why

    ngk iridium spark plug(though no power increase,gives me awesum mileage now

    upjetted to around 120-124( the size was sumwer b/w the stock 115 and cbz x's 128) so i assume i bored it to that value

    proton fibre reeds..

    i want to know should i got for a proton ecr? m looking for the mid range one.is it really worth it? how much should it cost me?

    custom chambers cost a lot and so do other mods like the rdd cdi

    i dont wanna spend much cuz its better if i get a rx135 and spend on it rather..

    so keeping budget in mind,i wanna spend accordignly..

      You are on the right track, just get an rdd cdi and replace the k&N with uni

      Whats a proton ecr man ! i am very new to such things

        rdd cdi costs not less than 10g's,i think u dint read my post properly

          for a RX CDI it is 2200 aprox. you may contact tor3que on the forum and he would help you. he sells them from banglore.


          for 12g you get the CDI for RD 350

              You are wrong RDD cdi costs 2.8k, an 100/90 kit costs 7k incluses RDD digital cdi, with a analogue cdi it costs 5k, you neeed any otehr info !!!

              what about a flat side carb? cost? and worth the money?

                Dude i am a member on rddreams, get a custom made chamber pm atul_astro on the forum i am getting one made from him, for more info click the link in my signature

                An original flatside carb (mikuni & keihin)costs you 7k-11k yes they are defently worth the money but don't expect your bike to fly afer installing you need a right amount of porting and bigger reed cages for it.

                    ok got it..the rd 350 cdi costs 12k..

                    rx100's will cost 2800..man i was confusing it all this while..

                    cant i upgrade to a rx135 cdi then?

                        Contact Teji [Tejinder aka Torq3e].. he is the only guy dealing with RDD RX cdis thesedays.. Ron Chinoy handles only RD350 cdi kits thesedays..

                              replacing the capacitor with a greater value one wont work??
