  • TB350 Idle Issue

    Need Help!

My TB350 started low rpm issue today. As soon as the bike goes into idle it switches off on its own. This happened earlier also, at that time I adjusted the rpm and the next day the issue was gone. I experienced the same issue today again. I'm suspecting issue in the carborator. Is there any quick fix or I have to take the bike to service center?

    Topic Approved.

We can't evalute that you need to go to Service center or not, because you may or may not be able to perform basic maintenance on your own.

Its a good idea to get air filter and carburetor cleaned for impurities. If you can do yourself, its good, otherwise SVC.

In a rare case, it might just be lower set idle rpm, in that case increase idle rpm using a screw on the carburetor. This you may do on your own, if you're sure about it.

Does your rpm fluctuate up and down in the tachometer while hot-idling? If so, then its running lean (one extreme of the Air fuel ratio) and you may use a O2 sensor machine to tune the carburetor (experienced mechanic needed).

Thanks for the advice. I did try to set the rpm and the issue was fixed.

But this came again after some days. Also the bike is experiencing rpm fluctuating issue that you mentioned. I guess I'll have to show it to the service center.
      Thanks for the advice!
