Hello, I bought a hero glamour bike 2 years back, which was bought on loan by the original owner belonging to a different district of same state. I did not buy the bike from the owner directly.
The bike is still in owner's name as the person (mechanic) who sold the bike to me, told me that I need NOC for transferring it to my name because the bike was taken out on loan.
The mechanic told me that the owner has received NOC some days ago and to collect the same. I recently travelled 200 Kms to the address provided in the RC, but could not find the 1st owner. His father was there but was not responsive at all. Nobody seemed to have his mobile number! Hence facing dillema what to do. I want to sell the bike now as I have bought another one but who would want to buy it?
Is there any way to do registration without the NOC?
If not, how can I get NOC with out the owner?
