Kriss i showed it to an expert...he said that some "Chaining work" needs to be done.I didnt get the word exactly but.

This needs be done for engine Overheating and Wierd noises coming out from engine.

He is asking 2.5K for the work..so i was wondering if there is any other and better option for me or not.

Suggestions on "engine Overheating and Wierd noises " are welcome

        Cheers

Noises from where ?? Engine ?? or from rear..

Chaining work from engine... i guess it would be related to the change of timing chain... 2.5k ?? is way too much.

            Who quoted 2.5 ?? PBK ??

if not take it pbk... Dont screw ur 200 unnecessarily by taking it to mechs whom you cant trust.

Regarding the overheating you've failed to mention you've plonked a K&N without suitable jetting!! That's quite a big factor pal.

...ok agree with the overheating point. Will do the upjetting later.

Can we concentarte on other points.

I'm not an "expert" but since you mentioned OVERHEATING above I had to mention about the upjetting since it plays a big role. Running the stock jet on a plonked K&N makes your carb run lean leading to heating issues.

If you're looking for advice from fellow riders you need to be a little more specific and give more inputs. "Wierd noises" does not help.

Sum1 from our forum suggested me to go for Karizma jet..is it going to work ?

Actually why i just wrote "Wierd noises" ...because...the expert to which i showed my bike asked me for engine work after hearing the engine sound. When i asked him he said it needs to be worked for some "Chaining " i didnt get exactly the word....though he said the other problems will be visible only when he will bisect the ENGINE...that is what i mentioned in my earlier post that i will update the thread with the specific problem in the eve........
