  • CBZ xtreme / Hunk issues

Hello guys I have completed 24000 kms in my 2014 model Hunk. I had a rattling noise during gear shifts and the mechanic told that it was the issue with the foundation bolts and after he tightened that it is resolved. Now after releasing the throttle I have a small squeaking noise sometimes from the bike. Don't know what is wrong. Now at 24000 kms both my front fork oil seals are worn out and i replaced them. and my right rear shock absorber is also leaking oil so I replaced it. The mechanic told no need of replacing both as the other one is not leaking oil but the spare dealer told it is good to replace both together. Guys is there any problem if I replace only one of them and not both? My bike has completed only 24000kms. Now why is my rear shock absorber worn out so early?? Is it because I am not riding properly?? There is no oil leak from the other shock absorber but how can the check the other shock absorber??

    CBZ xtreme / Hunk issues

Hello guys i have a 2014 model hero hunk which has completed 24000kms. I had an issue of rattling noise while shifting gears but after tightening the foundation bolts now that issue is resolved. Now after I release the throttle a squeaking noise is there. I don't know its cause. Anothe rissue is that my both front forks oil seals i had to replace at 24000kms due to oil leak. Now my rear right side shock absorber is also leaking oil and mechanic told to replace that singly. Is there any issue in replacing only one rear shock absorber at a time?? The spare parts dealer told that it is good to replace both rear shocks together. Since xtremes and Hunks rear shocks are same except some design changes I replaced with xtremes..is there any issue? There is no oil leak in my visibility from the other shock absorber. Will the replaced shock also get damaged?? Why did my shock get damaged at 24000kms?? Is it because i am riding too rashly??

I have a 2007 CBZ Xtreme, done 32,000Km. Now the bike is running rough and giving black smoke, squealing shock absorber's, worn cone set, poor disc brake and gives average of 40.

Maintenance will be costlier than the market price of the bike.. Lol

In my opinion, its poor build quality which translates to these issues.

Hello guys, i am not sure if this is the correct thread if not pardon me. I have a Hero Honda Hunk 2011 Model (Kick less). I was riding this bike for the last 8 years without any major issue. Recently couple of days back i had an issue with the Rectifier unit. I found that the Rectifier unit is faulty and it's not charging my battery. I went to the dealer for a new rectifier but they don't have it. I searched about 100 shops in here Bangladesh but was unable to find Rectifier for Hunk. There are rectifiers for Glamour or other bikes but not for Hunk.

Now i am in very much trouble coz i can't using my bike as it doesn't have kick start and my battery drained so i can't start my bike with self start.

So guys it's my humble request, please help me what do i do now as soon as possible. Is there any other Rectifier which will work on Hunk? Please help me out.

          Thank You.

Check with nearby hero service center in your area or else try ordering online.. if both options don't go well check the voltage of RR unit and get it replaced with similar voltage or a bit higher one. Don't use any rectifier unit u want it can make all wiring go kaput if recommend voltage is not supplied

You told that you are getting squeaking noise while releasing the throttle, check your accelerator cable also lube the accelerator with grease and it solves your issue. And coming to your shock absorber related issue. Replace the leaking oil seal its enough. But make sure you change the oil in both shock absorbers. Make sure the oil seal gets installed properly. I hope this helps you.
