    Ants under seat

    Hello guys. Recently, I removed my bike seat after a long time and found small black ants in very large numbers.
    I washed it with water and soap only to see them disappear and reappear the next day. And this is happening almost everyday. I stay in a nice apartment complex with no anthill anywhere near the parking space.
    Any idea or help to terminate them would be appreciated and it would be even nice to know what may be the reason.

      They are inside your seat eating sponge of your seat .
      I would suggest you to visit any seatmaker.

        I guess you're right. Some ants are carrying small whitish yellow solids with them somewhere down the air intake.

          One can use kerosene to get rid of them. Those insects just can't stand its smell. The mixture of water and vinegar will also scare them off. If you find the anthill, you can get rid of sugar ants with boiling water. Here is the article where other methods of fighting ants are described. Hope it will come in handy.

            Happens a lot in my car. Damn ants get into the engine bay and creep their way into the cabin thru god knows what chink in my beautiful car. My ants are pretty kind tho, they hopefully aren't eating my car away. [emoji23]. I tried tracing the ants but can't get past the engine cover and I'm really not sure about pouring kerosene or vinegar into such sensitive areas. Lemme know of something else works out!
