  • Oil leakage from oil drain plug

    Hello everyone,

I have been facing a persistent issue in my bike. The engine oil plug has three bolts and there is a constant leakage from one of them. The service center people are advicing on changing the engine casing as the threads of one of the screw assembly withing the engine body have gone. I am thinking of taking the bike to someone who can bore and put a oversized screw in place of the problematic one. Does anybody know of a good workshop who can do this work? I am based in Sanjay Nagar, Bangalore.

    Topic Approved.

@gomsi Please always mention which bike you have. Otherwise, our and other member's solution will not be specific enough.

It is quite possible that you may put an oversized screw, and it gets easier if you want it to be sealed permanently and use other 2 screws for changing oil.
Or you can use the existing screw with plumbing threads to make it thicker...

@rossiter @saquib3005 Bro, could you suggest a good local source for helping out the above member? Preferably, something like an engineering shop or so..

@Venkatesh Rm Since you're from Sanjay Nagar, could you help this biker, or tag other members who may help?

        Sorry, missed giving the details.

I have an Hyosung Aquila Pro 650. I will try and share the photos.
