The problem started after 20-25 days of general servicing like oil change, coolant replace, washing etc by my local mechanic who used to be a mechanic in a Yamaha ASC. He serviced my bike 3 times previously.
First incident- I was riding in 4th gear and opened up the throttle and engine stalled. Bike was refusing to start but after 3-4 attempts it started. Came back home and parked it.
Again I was riding the bike next day and suddenly on the lower gear engine stalled and refused to start but after 3- 4 attempts it starts. This thing continued for 5-6 days. Then I visited the mechanic. He said the clutch is too tight, coolant pipe was choking etc. I was riding the bike in this condition with engine stalling every now and then. Usually I don't ride more than 7-8 kms a day and that too sometimes after 2-3 days. Engine heats up more than usual. I visited the mechanic one more time and this time he is saying that the heat sensor is malfunctioning and I should change it which costs around 700Rs he said.
P.S.- Even after 3-4 days of sitting idle, the bike starts in first cranking. No sensor light comes up and everything seems normal. Battery is 3 yrs old but no abnormal behaviour from headlights, horn etc. Everything's normal. One more thing I have noticed 3 times now, that after the bike stalled and refuses to start in 2-3 attempts, I switched off the killswitch and turned off from the Ignition key and immediately switched on and it started in the first attempt. Don't know if this co-related or worth mentioning. Any help will be appreciated.
