replace left right shock up oil!
check for bend in bars and "T"
replace and tighten cone set

Hello bro i am not really an expert when it comes to bikes..But the problem that i had vanished after i replaced the tyre{ and i was given a tvs rib pattern tyre had no choice there}cos they replaced it right-away without much fuss!!!.The brand new tyre that i bought {CEAT} had a similar pattern to the mrf zapper ones..i wasn"t happy with it!!

Hello I've also had this problem sometime ago I own a pulsar UG3 and my bike used to wobble at around 50 to 60 speeds..I had bought a new Ceat tyre similar to the zapper pattern..I got it replaced and was provided with Tvs rib pattern tyres{I didnt have a choice} but now there is no such problem ..And i have tried this several times when i dont engage my hands on the steering and my bike doens"t wobble and i am happy!

ps some one had told me that all pulsars wobble at 50 to 60 speeds lol ..

This one I know!! There is a shaking handlebar at all speeds above 45-50 if you let go of the handlebar? If yes, the issue is with a loose nut of the rear wheel where it is connected to the swing arm. It should be torqued correctly but regular SVCs don't have torque wrenches. Anyways, it can be done in 2-3 trials even if the mech is not aware of the issue.

One of my co-riders on a tour had the exact same issue on his RTR. I had gone with him to the mech's but was somewhat distracted when he did his thing. On asking, this is what I was told. The guy was riding the severely wobbling bike for over 600km till then, and all it took the mech to rectify it was 3-4 minutes. The issue never re-occured at least for the next 2.5k km till the tour ended.

Vibrates on Riding

The same prob i do have.
I currently owe an Apache rtr. By the time i have bought it, it vibrates a lot while riding even at a normal speed of 50.
I have got the alloy wheel changed on mech suggestion, But still the problem is same. I am very unhappy with the bike.
Really need help on this.

I think that is the reason.
May not exactly be a bent rim but can be because of loose spokes.
This is what I did.
Hoisted the bike and held the rear wheel off the ground. Inspected each spoke by hand. At couple of places the spoke nipples felt loose.
Bike being new, the svc guys should have checked this thoroughly during service.
And then, I started bike, slotted it into 1st gear, let the rear tyre spin steadily and held a chalkpiece(rim is black color) close to rim edge and perpendicular to it.
Now I can clearly observe the mild wobble, rim edge touches chalk at some places.

So, I concluded rim needs truing. Thats what I will try to get done today, but wondering how the mechanic is going to support the bike without centerstand after removing rear tyre.

P.S. Now that I am able to observe slight wobbles, more bikes on the road seems to be having this problem. Observed it in a lot of them while tailing them.

Two points here; one it could be a defective tire from the start, may be its getting much attention after a little wear & tear; two, slightly bent rims, this can be sorted out after checking & removing the bend. For issue one, changing the tire is the only solution.

PS - It could be completely your imagination probably too; don't worry too much, as long as you can leave your hands & the bike keeps straight without you having to balance left/right, there's nothing to worry at all.

Thanks aargee, thats super quick. I read something on these lines on net, but could not comprehend how new tyre or some tread patterns cause slight wobble?
I have done multiple bursts of high speed and tight cornering but never felt even a hint of fault.
Odo is at 1700km . If tyres being new can be the cause, how long should I run before it settles.

One possibility could be is with tires (new isn't it), though a little difficult to prove; but its Hero Moto & I'm sure they listen

Didn't want to create a new thread. So, finding this appropriate, am posting here.

The bike in question is Hero Impulse

Just today I observed that my rear tyre wobbles slightly. I observed this while I was following my cousin while he is riding my Impulse. Otherwise there is no perceptible difference while am riding the bike. Never felt the wobble even at high speeds or cornering.
The bike never crashed nor dropped. I check cold air pressures my self. I also ensure that both axle alignment indicators on swingarm are matched.
Still don't know what causes this wobble.
Saw it only while I followed it on another bike.

Is this some significant problem? I tightened the rear axle and checked alignment indicators on both sides. Still this slight wobble exist.
What should I do?

~Richard~ i would give you a BIG YES. The handle shake is typically due to an uneven wear pattern in the front tire. i too was facing the same problem. if you doubt this, jus keep your hands on the tire and just slide it down smoothly in the contact patch area... you will be able to feel minute ups and downs in the tyre... this at particular speed makes the handle shake like its jerking off. you know exactly what i mean. Changing the front tyre wil solve this problem, but you have to check the reason for the uneven wear in your tyre..

~asmeetsinghchawla~ as you said, the reason for the uneven wear could be wheel bearing, your front suspension setup( what i mean is different oil levels in each leg of the suspesnion, twist / bend in the inner tubes, more importantly the T stem section below the head light where the tubes get locked has to be checked for bends...Also check whether your front brakes are releasing properly and doesnt restrict the wheels too tight...

Razor cones and balls has nothing to do with the front wheel wobble and vibration. in fact ,the kone set wears off too quickly due to the wobble.

I have changed the brakes, the tires and the wobblin is out. now to replace the bearing and check the suspension setup.
