    Budget place for bike accessories in Mumbai!!

    Hello xbhpians,

    Glad to post I have booked the orange variant of Kawasaki Vulcan SE 650. Waiting for the delivery which will be in coming weeks.

    I need help from you all regarding which accessories are must to have as I take the delivery of bike. What I have thought of is firstly having a good crash guard/bars installed.

    Second, getting a ceramic coating done at the earliest.

    While the above 2 are very important as per me I find the cost of both accessories on a higher side at the Kawasaki dealer.

    Crash guard is for 14k while on Amazon am getting it for 8k. Even the ceramic coating cost is 10k with the kawa dealer.

    Need help on if there is any place in Mumbai (as am from Mumbai) from where I can get good accessories at lower cost without compromising on quality.

    Other accessories which I intend to have is the backrest, led auxiliary lights.

    Your views on any other than above mentioned acessories is genuinely welcomed.

      Hi. You can try AZ helmets which is close to Lotus petrol pump, andheri west for accessories. There is another shop close to Siddhi vinayak automobiles also on link road about 5 mins from AZ HELMETS.They too have a few accessories.
      Just my opinion but it is advisable to check the quality of the crash guard if u r not getting it fit from kawa.
      Regarding, back rest for rider, I just bought a skoda headrest from a junkyard and modified it to fit my bike.Looks like a million bucks and cost me 400 Rs.

        Further more, Ceramic coating is an absolute scam. So please dont fall for such gimmicks. Avoid washing ur bike very often, keep it in covered parking,dust it rather than wiping, apply 3 to 4 coats of good quality wax and u hv nothing to worry about.no matter what ceramic,teflon,glass coating u apply ur baby will have micro scratches if u intend to ride her. So dont waste money.
