  • [Help]: Shifting base to Delhi/ NCR.

Sorry for derailing from the main topic guys.
I will be shifting to NCR (Ghaziabad to be precise) by the end of June. Looking forward to meet you all.
Few questions to begin with. Which one is the best Yamaha service station in the NCR region?
I will be in Ghaziabad for 12 months. Can i ride Pune registered bike with out much problems? How often the cops stop outside two-wheelers, any idea?

Why don't you send a PM to Aryan. He will be perfectly placed to tell you since he has owned a ML number plate bike for years in Delhi.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

@Sneh: I have created this new thread for your query. Although, I have no idea about the best YAMAHA showroom/ service station in the Delhi/ NCR region, but I can help you a little regarding riding an outstation registered bike here in the NCR.

I have been riding an outstation registered bike (ML - Meghalaya) for many years now, and I really didn't face any kind of problems. If I ever get stopped, it is not for the registration number, but for general checking of bike papers, etc. If you have all the papers in hand, then there shouldn't be any problems whatsoever.

There are many people here who ride outstation motorbikes in Delhi. You need not worry about this.
      :)

Welcome to NCR sneh, Where in Ghaziabad? Dont worry no one will ideally bug you for riding an outstation registered bike in whole of NCR. Just make sure you have all papers in order and if the bike in someone else's name keep an NOC as precautionary measure.

Keep all the fuel bills, PUC and Insurance certificate in original with you.

              Thanks guys.
@setuniket, Buddy, i always carry the originals with me. Thanks for relieving me.
I will be staying at IMT for my executive MBA. As this will be 15 months course, I dont want to spend money on NOC & bribes. I was using Dehradun registered bike in Pune but was too scared to ride it all the time in Pune, thanks to corrupt Pune cops.
