  • Rear Tyre change and mono suspension

    Hi guys

I intend changing the zapper Q on my Rtr 200 as it is inches from meeting it's wear limit indicator .I'm experiencing punctures and fishtailing due to the same .I already changed the front Tyre to zapper FS and was contemplating going in for the REVZ-s series .Now is REVZ-s a hard or soft compound Tyre and can it be used in combination with the zapper FS ? will it affect braking and flickability . I mostly ride on highways and the pathetic so called roads of Bombay and my commutes mostly involves Bombay-pune-Pune -Goa.

Read somewhere that the REVZ-S is puncture prone or should I stick to the zapper Q?

Coming to the mono suspension I have ridden the bike for 44k kms in 20 months of ownership.Due to riding on pathetic roads the suspension had gone stiff which I adjusted to a medium setting .But I'm experiencing back pain and the push back gives a khat-khat sound (I couldn't.describe it in another way[emoji52]) The SVC is of the opinion that it's run it course and needs to be changed

Your thoughts please guys ?? I apologise for the lenghty post but I intend changing the Tyre tomorrow Click image for larger version
