I have a used Honda CBR 250R 2012 ABS version. I bought it used for 9000 kms on odo in feb 2018. Since then, I've clocked around 12000 kms on it. At around 18000 kms, the engine head developed a blockage issue and it resulted in worn camshafts and cam bearings (I've attached a picture). So I got the head replaced (not to mention it left me bankrupt). Since the head is replaced, The engine vibrates a lot. So much, that my hand becomes numb after riding at 100 for around 2 hours. I changed the oil after 1500 kms ( due to run in ). The vibes have decreased but not significantly. Do i need to check my valve clearance since the head is new? I don't hear any tappet noise from engine. Does the engine has rubber bushes on its mounting which the technician might have forgotten to put back?( Pathetic Honda ASS) what could be the reasons behind it. I'm planning a road trip to Nepal next month and I'm worried about the reliability of bike.
I used Honda Throttle 10w30 fully synthetic for first 1500kms during run in and switched to shell ultra 10w40 there after.
Also I bought bike from one of my friends who couldn't ride it because of health issues. The engine was butter smooth before Changing the cylinder head.
