    Hi Guys,

My bike, Honda Hornet 160 ABS is new. 800kms and first service done.

Engine is overheating and gear shifting is very hard and I am also getting false neutrals.

    Can you please help me?

    Check the clutch lever
    Is it too loose?

Not too losse but loose, and also getting burnt smell from engine, gears are also getting struck when shifting from 2-3 or 3-4 and making noise, First service done and still no resolution.

Did the mechanic adjust your carburetor. He must've changed the factory settings.

Tell the mechanic to change your carburetor settings to factory settings, this will solve the problem.

but carburretor tuning ,would not fix the gear shift problem

I would suggest go to the ASC and sit on their head till your problem is solved.

I was talking about fe. Hard gearbox is a characteristic of hornet.

Yamaha and suzuki are the smooth Japanese manufacturer. Honda cbr 650f despite having inline 4 configuration still vibrates. Honda used to be smooth, but nowadays it's even worse than modern bajaj engines like rs and ns 200.

Honda asc in my area just don't accept about the problems in my motorcycle. Online complaints also don't help much as they refer to honda asc only. They say it's all fine, hard gearbox is normal , vibrations will reduce after 3000 kilometres etc.
