Pulsar 150 headlamp relay
Please stick to OEM wattage for headlamp bulbs. You can use relay wiring as well but your battery will die soon and heavy load on alternator as well so its better getting away from it.Originally posted by rohitvasuniya View PostHave anyone installed headlamp relay and wiring in pulsar 150 dts-i my bike is giving slightly poor illumination compare to other 35/35W stock helogen setup i have also try 55/60w helogen bulb illumination improved but not very much i think my bcu(light control unit the worst thing in pulsars) or wiring is weak i also try dual beam at one time but that is not helping me very much so anyone made any wiring or relay modification pls help me my battery is new amaron pro rider 9Ah, my bike is pulsar 150 dts-i ug4 2009
Higher wattage bulbs = higher operating temperature of bulb hence it can result in fading/damaging of reflector assembly of headlamp.
Try osram silverstar which is 35watts.
If you want to upgrade it to 55/60watts. You can go for Philips Extreme Vision plus.
Don’t opt for HID in reflector assembly because filament discharge of HID and Halogen are of different which can cause unnecessary glare to oncoming traffic.
