  • Help with buying riding gears

    Hello all!

I need to buy good riding clothes for my Ladakh ride next year.
My budget for helmet is limited to 4000.
Jacket budget 14000. I also want good leg protection so how is pro biker knee guard which is made of steel.
I have good gloves and I am using army boots for safety, is it ok or should I buy new boots ?
And also please advice any good comfort mod for long ride on royal Enfield.
I am looking at SMK helmet but little out of my max budget, any discount available ?
how is Royal Enfield darcha jacket ?
    Thanks.

For helmet get the SMK Stellar, bloody good helmet, comes with Pinlock 30 and is ECE rated.

Jacket - Check Solace Furious, Rynox Stealth.
I would recommend Solace, go through the riding gears thread here.

Do not buy knee guards, invest in good pants.

Army boots are okay but provide no shin protection.

I have not checked Royal Enfield Darcha jacket recently. It is too outdated.
