  • Shock absorbers query

I wanted to know if shocks at the front of all commuter bike have the same internal parts? I have a Suzuki Slingshot 125cc... and the front shocks seem to have become stiff. I wanted to replace and the shopkeeper wanted to sell a generic piece. He was saying that all bikes have same springs and oil in the front.

    Looking forward to your help.

Oil you can use any ,hardly matters but use it of a good brand.(Valovline,Gabriel etc).

Regarding springs I would suggest to take the spring out and then take it to the mechanic and
then ask him. Length may differ slightly because old springs expand more after usage.
