    Piaggio ape rr rectifier alternative in 2018???

    Hello all xbhpians,

    This would be my first post here.. i am going to be converting my 2005 model pulsar ug2 to dc, have gathered all the information from all post here on xbhp. Just confused about the rectifier part which alternate rectifier i can buy apart from piaggio ape rr which is hard to find??

    Going to be rewinding my stator coil with 19swg copper wire, already installed NIGHT EYE 35 watt LED bulb which affected my battery.

    Guys need help me finding the right rectifier??

      Piaggio Ape is a Auto which is not so popular in Delhi but you can find loads of them in NCR area, say Gaziabad, Noida. Go to piagio website and find service centers near Delhi NCR. Contact them with the part number and tell them you need "Ape Battery charger", show them photo and they will understand. Then check with the part number and wires before making payment.

      If still finding problem then go to Bajaj Service center and ask for pulsar 220 RR unit. It is similar as Ape rr unit. For more information, go to AC/DC conversion thread last 2-3 pages, there one guy had already posted a photo of Pulsar RR unit.
      Next time, post your quires on that thread, avoid making a new thread, you wont get much replies.
