  • R15 V3 Making strange metal ringing noises like as if there's a coin.

This being my first bike, I've absolutely fallen in love with it until a few days back the metal ringing noise came in.

There's some metal ringing noise at about 5 to 6 K rpm onwards, sounds like as if there's a coin or a metal piece somewhere and its hitting against the walls.

I used to find reasons to just hop onto the saddle, and get that sweet sweet sound making me feel like I'm riding a liter bike But now after that noise, it feels heartbreaking, it feels like that girl you once fell in love with but now the love has faded away.

It makes me absolutely sad, it's like finding out that same girl been cheating on me

    So what's the problem?

I used to use shell V power but now I've decided to use the normal shell, is the fuel causing the problem?

The bike has done 2500 Km and the second service is due at 3k. I want to take it to the service center but something tells me that nobody really gives a damn in my Yamaha service center. Something tells me that, they won't take the effort to find out the flaw from my first service center experience. They're so miserable that I feel like telling them "Nah bro you fix your issues in life, Ill service my bike myself"

Whereas for my car which is a Honda, they're so nice that on multiple occasions they gave me the car back on the same day, whilst fixing every single issue!

    So,

Question 1) What do you think is the problem?

See the video for a better idea, around 5k Rpm

Question 2) Do you know any other place where they take pride in their work and deliver it on the same day? (Bangalore, Marathalli)

Here, I've taken a video of it. Its kinda hard to tell but keep your eye at 5 K rpm and pay close attention.

                    That's not helping the cause.
The post above is trying to help out a biker irrespective of the brand, we believe in biking brotherhood and not segregation based on affinity towards any particular brand.
This does not mean Yamaha is Made by God and cannot have any sort of problems ever.
                    Regards,

Please go through the V3 ownership thread. People have highlighted few problems that they are facing and most of them have got it rectified.
Every motorcycle has its own merits and demerits.
Yamaha has super costly spares but is refined.
Bajaj is not that refined but has cheaper spares and wide spread service centers.
                          Regards,

Yes bro timing chain cost me only ₹189 and tensioner is only ₹158 and noise is gone sounds like new one, i love bajaj for it's parts cost and availability i don't worry about any part failure because major parts like new bore piston kit of pulsar is only about 1900rs
