  • My Royal Enfield Desert storm not starting

I own a royal Enfield Desert storm. It's 2014 model and 17000 km run. Yesterday my bike was stopping while riding and I noticed engine fault light l am used to, glow continuously. Switching off and then on used to reset the problem.

I thought that clutch cable might require a change as the bike used to stop while deceleration. Today morning also such problem was there and bike was jerking also. When in afternoon I tried starting my bike it didn't start either by self or kick. After starting attempts the engine fault red lamp started glowing. Even when it's not glowing, bike isn't starting. My petrol tank is full. I had to leave my bike at my office only and took lift from my friend.

What might be the problem. I searched a bit but didn't find any clue indicating fault for such symptoms.
    Please help.
