I recently bought a cover for my P220 from a Hero-Honda spares shop. Though I have a covered parking for my bikes, the cover is bullet-proof and is extremely good VFM. Costed Rs. 350 and the material is custom selected and the cover is stitched using a very different stitch thread and pattern. Will try to post some Macro snaps of the cover and the stitch.

Aravind had asked a few questions and I am sure that those would be generic, so I am taking the liberty of posting it here.

                      1. how heavy is it ?
-> Not really heavy. Maybe a bit more than our usual covers.

                      2. does water seep in @ heavy rains ?
-> The cover has a nice waterproof material on the inside. I bought the cover recently and the rains have not yet started so, no idea about its water proofing abilities . But I think that the cover should be OK.

                      3. how durable is this ?
-> No idea since I bought it recently. The cover looks to be of decent quality and should last quite a bit.

                      4. do you get in custom sized ?i am looking this for my avenger Hi,
-> This cover fits a motorcycle as large as the Bullet (as per the shop's claims). However, on my 220, the cover does not entirely cover the bike. Some part below is exposed. It fits my 150 perfectly fine.

                      5. where did I get it from?
-> From Nanapeth. There is a store called National Temp House. Another landmark is the Bombay Rexines Store. Just opposite these stores is the HH Authorized Spares outlet. This is where I got it from.

                      6. any other colours available?
-> Yes, a complete black cover is also available.

                      7. Cost?
-> Rs. 350. I tried to bargain but no use. You can try your skills if you wish.

                          Bike Covers

                          Hi guys,

I've been into bikes for a while now and have been using various bike covers to protect my bike from dust, rain, unwanted attention and so on.
So I was wondering about listing the currently available covers in mumbai/india and their prices.
Guys, if you do have info about the locally available covers here, please put in a note with prices, reviews, location so we can all benefit from this sharing of info. This thread is not restricted to mumbai. Let's however restrict the inputs to India. Cause not too many people really order bike covers from abroad. But just in case, anybody has ordered a nice cover online, please feel free to put in your thoughts and experience.

                          so here is my experience:

                          NELSON-RIGG
                          cost : 3,500 inr
light and portable (includes carry pouch)
good against dust, not too great in heavy rain.
bought from performance racing store, mumbai
                          got stolen from bandra

                          Rjays (currently using)
                          cost:1,799
                          heavy and not portable
good for heavy rain and dust. the seams do seem to give way after a while.needs touchup to avoin water entering the cover.
                          bought from bachoo motors, mumbai
                          Don't forget to wave :-)
