  • Ladakh.

I'm from Ladakh. I have owned many bikes including NS 200, 350 Electra, Thunderbird etc etc, but had planned to purchase BMW G 310 GS. My concerns are:
    1. No authorised dealer here.
    2. What if I do the regular service, do I still get the warranty?
    3. Is it good for regular commutes and a weekly bike camping?
    4. I'm happy on a bike then my SUV, am I normal?

    Answer be highly solicited.
    Thanks in anticipation.

      1. My suggestion for you don't go 4 G310s if no AD in laddakh, coz if you buy this machine and if any problem occurs after-that, it will be very painful to you for sorting out the issue.
      2. I don't think warranty will be still remain if service get from unauthorized or local service center.
      3. It is good for regular commuter & camping both.
      4. u should be proud yourself as u prefer 2 wheels rather than 4 wheels.

Hello brother. I also enquired about g310. And one of my friend is employee in BMW motorrad. And he told me that you may buy wherever you are and whenever your bike needs service then they can send a mechanic at your place. Also the service interval is around 7k kms then you dont have to look after services.
