  • [Photo Feature]: Regarding Engine Oil Changing

    Hi brothers,

Let me introduce myself, I'm ALLWIN and I own a Dominar 400. I need some suggestions regarding the engine oil change in Dominar 400. I'm about to give it for 3rd service (9750 kms as of now)and I'm not so happy with the stock Bajaj 10000 oil even it's made by Total. I have changed it at 2nd service (at 4800kms) and its still running on it. Can you guys help me in selecting the best engine oil? ( plz mention the price and drain interval and of course your experience review) My preferences are :-

    Addinol
    Liqui Moly
    Motul
    Etc..

" For Dominar 400 go with 10w50 Synthetic Oil irrespective of any reputed brands , But i would recommend you Motul 7100 10w50 1.5Ltr ,your engine oil capacity requires 1.5Litre ,.. Dont go with mineral oil of any brand , no oil will last for 10,000km, if its mineral oil , change it for every 2000kms.
        semi synthetic oil - 3000-3500kms
        Synthetic Oil - 4000-5000kms.
Engine Oil life depends on how we ride and what condition we ride.
then and there check the viscosity and drain.

Thanks bro for the reply. I serviced the bike last week and I ended up choosing Addinol 10W50 Fully synthetic oil.
