  • CBR 250R help needed

Hi friends.... This is Jason D'souza residing at Malad west (Mumbai). I really need some help with my recently purchased CBR 250R. It's a July 2015 model and clocked 22400 KM's on odometer. The bike had three breakdowns while I was getting it back from the dealer. The battery had got drained out hence had to jumpstart and ride back home. Next day my personal mechanic towed my bike to his garage as the bike wasn't even starting on jumpstart. He first charged the battery for 3 hours and in the mean time started working on the bike. He figured out that the wires coming out from the engine connecting the battery had burnt. Three different wires were burnt from the same place so he had to cut them and replace with another wire. That has solved the problem temporarily. He said that the battery and charger is perfectly fine as after checking with the amp he didn't see the battery discharging. The next morning I started the bike and in the first self it started without any hesitation. That really made me happy however the concern here is that I don't want any more breakdowns while riding. I feel that the coil inside the engine may be the issue that lead to the wires burn or may be something else that I'm not sure. I need someone to help me with this. I don't mind coming and meeting someone personally and show my bike or recommend me a genuine mechanic that will help me with all possible issues. Thanks in advance guys.
