I am stuck with RR unit for my GS150R

I have done coil winding as per pdf posted in our forums for GS150R ac to dc conversion....

Went to Kamdhenu motors (Piaggio Dealer) for ED22158 RR. the guy gave me faulty one which he replace me with 1D000671R (3 phase one) and stated once he received ED22158-Ape RR he will inform me..

As APE-RR ED22158 was used in BS2 Ape while after that Piaggio has introduced BS3 and BS4. There is no stock for ED22158 in local 2 Piaggio center and guy told no chance for getting APE - RR ED 22158.

After this i bought original UG4 RR which lasted for 9 days and after 3 days my battery totally drained out..
Now again i bought another UG4 RR that gives me voltage at full rev 13.42 volt not 14.7
Bought another RR delhi made Kinex KX 1196D (same as ED22158 -Ape RR) at full rev gives me 16 to 18 volts.. ( Delhi made do voltage rectified but not regulated)

    Voltage measered :
    Stator Coil - 15 to 48 volts.
Kinex KX-1196D - non regulated 13 to 19 volts..(currently riding with Kinex d made RR unit at low speed)
Original UG4 RR stuck at - 13.42 volts. (not charging my battery even)

In between i also checked car's RR unit they come naked one and fixed with car's 3/1 phase alternator. Car's rectifier has good ampere load capacity..

Which RR unit i have to use ? APE RR not available, UG4 not working, D made not regulating voltage.

What anyone in the same situation can try these or Bajaj Pulsar 200 Ns rr 2012 model.

Both of these are good for 180 watts which quite enough for ac/dc to dc conversion needs.

pulsar 200 ns rr is a single phase and will handle the loads required as stock headlight of ns is 55/60 watts and has a radiator fan to run. Have not personaly checked the ns rr for maximum capacity.

I will experiment with the 3 phase coil winding as it is more robust giving the adequate voltage at low rpms. A project for some other time.

There are two variants on the APE RR
One with 4 wires and another with 6 wires (extra 2 wires for battery warning lamp in dash).
Both works fine. I had the 6 wire unit on my RTR160 for 6 years. Still running fine.
NS200 RR unit is also great it can push load upto 200w at ease.

My RTR had 18g winding 40turns per pole coupled with ape RR.

NS200 RR part number: JL402001 it's around 700rs last time. It's made by varroc.

        Ape RR 4 wire : ED22158
        Ape RR 6 wire : ED33204
Ape RR is made by INEL(India Nippon electricals limited)
You can also find INEL made ones.

        Thanks and regards
        Manoj Sivaraman..
