  • Handlebar weight modification on hornet.

Hi everyone, I've 2018 hornet and honda doesn't provide handlebar weights like pulsars and apaches. The handlebar pipe is hollow and light and as a result of which buzz is observed in handlebars. Kindly suggest me how to install bar end weights , do i have to weld allen bolt screwing thread inside the handlebar?

Get Apache bar ends. They come as full assembly, which fits in any open end handle bar.

Simplest and cheapest option is to weld a 10 mm nut and washer at handle end.

      Or try FZ's plastic ones.

Apache 160/180 ones or 1604v/2004v are direct fit?

Think all are same though not sure. I bought 160/180 ones. It's solid metal and heavy.

You can even try Xtreme 150 bar ends, they're a direct fit, no modifications needed. They even look like stock, but they're quite heavy.

Here's how RTR bar ends looked on my Gixxer, direct fit.

Which bar end will be more suitable for reducing buzz, xtreme one or RTR one ?

Both are heavy, both will reduce it. You won't be able to differentiate. Only difference is that the RTR bar ends are bigger, jut out more, and may look weird.

No, stopped caring about vibes unless it's abnormal.
