Can anybody throw some light on how long it usually takes for the bike to get registered at RTO (Andheri West, Mumbai)? My bike papers were supposedly given on Monday (it's been 5 days) and I am still awaiting to get my bike from them.

Re: Registration time taken at Mumbai
It's unpredictable depending on the mood of the registration officers and the repo with the dealers agents. Sometimes I have seen it takes even 8 days to get the work done while for some other agent they do it the same day.Originally posted by ajayreddy View PostGuys,

However if you check the website for Vahan there is no specific time period mentioned for Registration of the vehicle.
Ideally it's adviced to expect atleast 5 working days to get the Registration done.
Also one more important point is starting from April 2019 i.e. (manufacturing dates of vehicles) all 2W will have the HSRP (High Security Registration Plate) mandatory for Mumbai RTO, which adds up to another 2 business days in the process.
* Just like me if you feel that getting a choice number will help to expedite the process for HSRP then please do not make this assumption. Even if you have booked a choice number, your request for HSRP will only be processed after the registration is done.
My vehicle is still stuck for registration too [emoji22]
